It’s officially the first week of classes, actually the first day and I’m already over student parking. I got up early this morning specifically to get my parking pass well before my class and also be there in time to find a decent parking space. Getting the parking pass was quick and painless, but my luck was short lived. Apparently everyone else had the same idea. I ended up looping around the school premises for about 15 minutes before I finally found a parking spot. A parking spot so far, literally several grocery and general stores past the campus, I could have parked nearby for free. I’m sure many of you college goers also feel the struggle. Besides the parking annoyance, the first day of classes went relatively smooth.
For my first day of classes I had Family and Human Services, and Anthropology of chocolate. It’s probably not too hard to believe I have already switched out of the chocolate class. Although, it was tempting to stay when the teacher handed out a bag of kisses when we first walked in. I’m a sucker for chocolate. That being said, I was only going to take it for an arts and letters credit, but I decided to take a Public Policy Management class instead. Tomorrow I have Writing 122 and Math 106. I’m truly hoping this is my last year of math. I was truly hoping spring term last year would be the end of my math career, but I took calculus and failed it, even with a math tutor twice a week. So I decided on an easier course this time around.
That’s it for this week. until next time,
